1963 Filming of Alfred Hitchcock's
"The Birds"

The 150 year old Potter School behind St. Theresa’s Catholic Church across the street from BREW was used in several scenes in the film. Today it is a private residence and is sometimes open for tours. The school teacher’s house was a façade erected during the filming. St. Theresa’s was briefly visible in the film, and was made famous when it was photographed by Ansel Adams.
